Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Conor McGregor was sued by a woman, claiming millions of dollars.
The representative did not provide details of the incident involving the woman and combatant. The alleged facts against McGregor should have occurred in Ireland in 2018.
The complainant’s mother also filed a lawsuit against the UFC star, but the amount was small.
Both complaints were filed in Dublin’s High Court on Monday. In these cases, McGregor’s colleagues were also listed as co-defendants.
“After Gardai conducted an exhaustive investigation, [le service de police national irlandais], Interviews with the complainant, obtaining testimony from witnesses, checking video tapes and the cooperation of Conor McGregor, these allegations have been explicitly denied.
“The facts told by the original contradict the claims of these litigations. Mr. McGregor will challenge any claims and firmly believes that justice will be the last word.
In recent years, the 32-year-old young man has encountered some legal problems. Since 2018, he has been arrested twice for assault and once for robbery. According to reports, he was also subjected to two sexual assault investigations.
McGregor will return to the Octagon on Saturday night to participate in UFC257. He will face Dustin Poirier there, which will be his third battle in the past four years.
