The Irishman shared some images of his aesthetic change and looked unrecognizable. In addition, he crossed tweets with Dustin Poirier and they could meet at the end of the year in a charity fight, outside the UFC.

Conor McGregor surprised on social networks by showing himself with a shocking change of look: not only did he shave his hair but also made his characteristic beard disappear. And he became unrecognizable to his millions of followers.

But McGregor didn’t stop there. To continue attracting the attention of locals and strangers, the Irishman crossed some tweets with his former UFC rival Dustin Poirier and together they agreed to a charity fight before the end of the year.

“Hey bro! Do you want to do a charity MMA fight? It has nothing to do with the UFC.”McGregor wrote in a first tweet. “I will donate half a million to charity. I will sell it on PPV or work on a TV deal and we work on other charities that are close to my heart as well. I am committed to many. Strictly a charity ‘exhibition’“proposed the former UFC two-division champion.

And continued: “On December 12 at the Point Depot, Ireland. No weighing. Open weight, unified rules. I will organize all the travel expenses for you and your family. McGregor Sports and Entertainment MMA, in association with The Good Foundation. Mixed Martial Arts Charity!“.

The Good Foundation is a charitable organization belonging to Poirier and his wife, with which they help build freshwater wells in Uganda, as well as donate school supplies to educational centers in Louisiana and purchase hospital equipment, among other aid.

Upon seeing the proposal on social networks, Poirier did not hesitate and expressed his desire to carry out the fight: “I’m in! Let’s do it! A lot of people will benefit from this.”, replied the American – one of the top lightweights in the UFC – who already faced The Notorious in 2014 and lost by TKO in the first round.

The problem for the hypothetical “rematch” to take place as a charity fight is that both have contracts with Ultimate Fighting Championship and they should be authorized by the organization, regardless of whether the match has an exhibition format.
