Coffee-loving tech-savvy Brooklynites gather to celebrate City League grand opening.

This past weekend, the newest cafe in Bay Ridge, City League, held their grand opening. City League is the product of a partnership between owner Dane Demchak and Blend Coffee + Co-Work owner Justin Mattera. The 1,500 square foot space features over 50 indoor and outdoor seats and a menu of seasonally available brews ethically sourced from farms in Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, Costa Rica and more.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by several Brooklyn community leaders, including Councilmember Justin Brannan and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Randy Peers. Brannan tweeted his congratulations to Demchak and Mattera, and Peers spoke about the importance of small businesses like City League for the borough’s economic heath.

City League is a place for customers to host meetings or special events, study, work and more. It is a place to feel at home while grabbing a cup of coffee and enjoying the sense of community. City League is open seven days a week, from 7 a.m to 5 p.m on weekdays and 8 a.m to 4 p.m on weekends.
