Christopher Nolan helps the industry not only with Tenet’s takings, but by going to the room himself, as seen in a photo that went viral on Twitter.
In March, in full health emergency, Christopher Nolan had said: “Let’s save the cinemas!”. And he is among those who have done it or are committed to doing it, first of all by giving his audience to the public Tenet, and then going into the room himself. And this very last gesture of his, seeing a film on the big screen, was immortalized by someone.
A photo showing it was posted on the Twitter account of the Regal Cinemas chain Nolan, his wife and others at the Regal Irvine Spectrum, a multiplex in the Californian city of Irvine. Obviously they all have a mask and a satisfied look. It seems that the film they chose is the romantic comedy produced by Selena Gomez Broken Hearts Gallery. It is very likely, as The Playlist points out, that the cinema offered the show to Nolan & Co., and perhaps, to support the industry, the director should have brought a caravan of people with him, but in this way (we add), he would have attracted a multitude of onlookers, which, reserved as it is, our not he would certainly have appreciated.

Christopher Nolan, which happily dominates our box office, has gone to see a movie on the big screen at other times. Last week, for example, he tasted it The Extraordinary Life of David Copperfield, which in Italy has not yet come out. The British director is not the only personality in the world of cinema to have returned to the cinema. Many have already done so, for example Tom Cruise e Hugh Jackman, who have not failed to tell it on social media.
