The stars of Boca and River were on the same side for an initiative for those most in need.
So many times confronted, but on many occasions twinned for a common cause, Boca and River were again on the same side to collaborate with a solidarity movement.
This is the “Big Day”, a day organized by McDonald’s in which the sale of Big Macs is aimed at charities. In this case, Carlos Tevez -for the second consecutive year- and Franco Armani were the ones who, at least for a while, changed the yellow band and the red band to play on the same team.
Last year they had already participated in an advertisement for the fast food house, in which they did not show great acting skills but they did show a very good disposition.
The Boca striker even this time will buy and donate 2,000 of the hamburgers that until next Friday, November 13, will serve to help those who need it most.
Is that with the purchase of the “Big Mac”, either through coupons obtained digitally or by going to the fast food chain stores on the same day 13, a contribution will be made to La Casa Ronald and Fundación Sí .
Last year, for example, more than 200 thousand of these hamburgers were sold throughout the country and, with the proceeds, the Sí Foundation was able to open a new university residence in the city of Mendoza that today allows 50 young people from rural areas to study and have a career to forge a future.
The residences offer an educational opportunity to facilitate tertiary and university studies, provide accommodation, food, financial aid for the acquisition of study material and per diem to young people from rural locations with limited resources, as well as medical, psychological, psycho-pedagogical and support assistance to those who need it.
But the proceeds will also go to La Casa Ronald, the Argentine Association for Aid to Children, which has been working in Argentina for more than 25 years with the mission of keeping families close at a time as hard as the illness of a child. So far, this entity has helped more than 330,000 children.
