Carla Suarez the battle against cancer. The Canarian tennis player was facing her last season as a professional when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and said that she is “ready to begin the months of treatment.”
“Ready to start the months of treatment. With courage and hope for whatever comes. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, “said the athlete through social media.
The 31-year-old player accompanied the text with a photo taken in a hospital at the same time you undergo the first treatment session assigned to you.

Suárez reported in September the “appearance of a Hodgkin lymphoma” on his body, in a statement confirming that the detection had been early.
In that publication Carla explained that she would follow a treatment of chemotherapy for the next six months, a treatment that has already started.
