Plet shoots Telstar to victory
Erik Schouten made the 0-1 for Cambuur in the 42nd minute. At a corner, De Graafschap could not get the ball away, causing a chaotic situation and the defender firing in. After the break, the home team chased the equalizer. Striker Ralf Seuntjens had two good chances, but in the 65th minute it was hit on the other side.
Giovanni Korte escaped from a Cambuur counter. The attacker beat De Graafschap keeper Rody de Boer with a nice bow and put the 0-2 final score on the scoreboard.
Because of the victory, Cambuur rose from third to first place. The team of trainer Henk de Jong now has as many points as De Graafschap, but the club from Doetinchem has played one more match. Moreover, Cambuur’s goal difference is much better (+31 at +7)

Earlier in the evening, Glynor Plet gave Telstar the victory in the home game against FC Dordrecht. The striker led his team with two goals to a 2-0 win over the bottom of the league.
After an hour of play, Plet opened the score for Telstar from a rebound. Three minutes later he was again accurate after a deep pass from Redouan El Yaakoubi. Sebastian Soto, who scored twice on his debut for the United States on Monday, this time remained without goals.
With the victory, Telstar climbs to eighth place in the ranking. The ‘Witte Leeuwen’ did play one or more matches than almost all other clubs. Dordrecht suffered its tenth loss of the season.
