Andrada, Salvio, Armani, Montiel and Martínez Quarta are already on the AFA premises. During the day, those who come from Europe for the debut in the Qualifiers will arrive.

The AFA property is once again filled with noise and life. Breathe football again. This Monday, the Argentine footballers called by Lionel Scaloni to play the first two games of the Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup began to join the Ezeiza bunker.

The first to arrive at the concentration were the local soccer players. Franco Armani, Gonzalo Montiel, Lucas Martínez Quarta, Esteban Andrada and Eduardo Salvio have already settled on the property. The men of River and Boca are the only representatives of the National Team that play in the country.

The other 23 footballers cited by Scaloni, coming from abroad, will join in the course of this Monday. The health “bubble”, a protocol measure required by Conmebol due to Covid-19, is already activated in Ezeiza.

On Thursday night, at the Bombonera, the National Team will debut in the Qualifiers by receiving the Ecuadorian team, which is led by Argentine Gustavo Alfaro.

Scaloni will have just two days of training with the squad (Tuesday and Wednesday), so there will be little time for the tactical and strategic set-up.

The second commitment in this double round of Qualifiers will be next Tuesday against Bolivia, in La Paz.
