“He regards Maradona as his son, he cannot handle this,” said Bilardo’s son Jorge on Thursday Radio Province.
Bilardo was the choice of the Argentine national team that won the world title in 1986 on the basis of Maradona. He has severe neurological disorders and is cared for at home by a nurse.
“I told her to cut the cable of the television. She told Carlos there is a malfunction. We are also keeping all newspapers away from him for the time being,” said Jorge.
