Salabè, former President and CEO of Warner Bros. Entertainment Italia, will lead all WarnerMedia commercial and marketing activities in the three territories.
Barbara Salabè, yes President and CEO of Warner Bros. Entertainment Italia and recently appointed Country Manager of WarnerMedia Italia, increases and expands its responsibilities by adding the corporate activities of Spain e Portugal.
He announced it today Priya Dogra, President of WarnerMedia EMEA & Asia (excl. China).
Salabè, which is part of WarnerMedia for nine years and in the past she was also responsible for the start-up of the channels Turner of WarnerMedia in Italy, will lead all WarnerMedia commercial and marketing activities in the three territories. Will answer directly to Priya Dogra as part of its executive team.

Her strong creative talent has also allowed her to develop and consolidate Italian film production which has seen many successes over the years. The responsibilities of Barbara Salabè, as Country Manager, they understand the development and implementation of WarnerMedia’s strategy in the three territories and the coordination and optimization of all marketing and commercial activities. This will include cinema distribution, Italian film productions, content licensing, home entertainment and consumer products, as well as advertising sales and distribution of WarnerMedia channels. It will work closely with their respective US and European functional leaders.
The leadership team of WarnerMedia EMEA, of which Salabè is a member, is made up of the following recently promoted country managers: Polly Cochrane (UK and Ireland), Iris Knobloch (France, Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and Pierre Branco (CEE, Nordic countries, Middle East, Turkey and Africa) which is also responsible for advertising sales and channel distribution in EMEA.
The structure of the country managers Hannes Heyelmann and Antony Root, functional managers respectively of programming and original production, integrate. Pedro Cosa will continue to lead data and insights, and Lesley Bailey and Cecilia Persson retain leadership of the central EMEA kids and young adults team, reporting to both Dogra and Tom Ascheim, President of Kids, Young Adults and Classics at WarnerMedia.
The reorganization follows last August’s announcement in which WarnerMedia brought together for the first time all of Warner Bros. HBO and Turner’s international operations under a single leadeship led by Gerhard Zeiler, head of WarnerMedia International, and to whom Priya Dogra reports.
