Sevilla completed the transfer of Oussama Idrissi on Monday. The attacker, who comes over from AZ, will sign with the winner of the Europa League until mid-2025.
Sevilla has started well in the season
Both clubs do not make any announcements about the transfer fee, but it is said to be 12 million euros. At the Spanish club, 24-year-old Idrissi will become a teammate of Luuk de Jong and Serbian former Ajax player Nemanja Gudelj.
The two-time international of Morocco played 98 official matches for AZ, scoring 37 times and giving 25 assists.
Idrissi was taken over by AZ from FC Groningen in 2018. The left winger born in Bergen op Zoom played in the youth academy of NAC Breda and Feyenoord.
Idrissi is the second basic player of last season to leave AZ this transfer period. Defender Stijn Wuytens previously returned to his native region in Belgium to play for Lommel SK.
Due to an abdominal muscle injury, Idrissi did not play for AZ this season in the Eredivisie. The Alkmaarders have already won a successor with the Swede Jesper Karlsson.
Sevilla has started La Liga well with seven points from three matches. The club was linked to Chelsea, FC Krasnodar and Stade Rennais last week in the Champions League draw.
