Audi presents the new Q5 for 2020, the best selling SUV in the Q range debuts on the market in a completely renewed version. The aesthetic takes up the brand’s new stylistic language, high-level technology inside, thanks to the large MMI touch display.
The new SUV of the Quattro Anelli boasts the typical identity of the enhanced Q range, an expression of dynamism, technology and safety. The octagonal single frame is wider and extends towards the lower section of the front, the side air intakes count on a superior longitudinal development and on trapezoidal decorative inserts. Thanks to the daytime running lights, the LED headlights boast an unprecedented luminous signature.
Looking at the car at rear, the protagonists of the design of the new Audi Q5 are the decorative strip that connects the headlights and the redesigned extractor. The standard finishes are flanked by the Advanced fittings, with vertical chromed slats for the single frame and bumpers in silver instead of black, and S line, with a sporty vocation, with a honeycomb grid of the single frame and chrome finish of the insert to extractor. The color range offers twelve shades, with two brand new district green and ultra blue paints.
As for the interior, we see at the center of the dashboard the large MMI touch display with acoustic feedback. The packages for the interior design selection and S line interior can be combined as desired with the exterior lines. The new Audi Q5 brings the new generation of the OLED technology, derived from the Audi A8. OLEDs are efficient organic light-emitting diodes, which generate very wide and homogeneous lighting.
The third generation MIB 3 modular infotainment platform has a computing power ten times higher than the previous MIB 2 system. At the top of the offer, it stands out the Audi virtual cockpit plus fully digital. The driver can choose between three views and manages the options shown on the 12.3-inch Full HD display thanks to the multifunction steering wheel controls.
As for the front engines instead the New Audi Q5 debuts in Europe in the 2.0 (40) TDI quattro S tronic configuration, the four-cylinder diesel engine is able to unleash the power of 204 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Like the previous model, the SUV continues to be produced in Mexico; will reach the Italian dealers in fourth quarter of 2020. The exclusive edition one package is dedicated to the launch.
