(Arsenal – Sheffield United 2-1) Sheffield United scored their first goal of the season against Arsenal, but once again they went off the field without points.

While Arsenal have had a turnaround under Mikel Arteta, Sheffield United have had a terrible start to the season. That after a very impressive last year’s season.

On Sunday, Chris Wilder’s men lost 2-1 over Arsenal, which means that Sheffield United now has zero points after four games. Only Fulham are in the bottom spot with a poorer goal difference.

A glimmer of light, however, is that Sheffield United scored the first goal of the season. David McGoldrick secured a reduction after Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pépé had each scored for the home team.

It also means that Arsenal now have three victories after four games, and are in fourth place in the table.

One who could come in to do something with Sheffield United’s form is Rhian Brewster. The record signing for Sheffield United was ready for the club this week. The 20-year-old is a Liverpool product, but has struggled to get enough minutes for Jürgen Klopp’s men. Now he can be an option for Wilder at the top. This is something they may badly need as they only have one goal after four games.
