The Spanish pilot Fernando Alonso has worked this Thursday in the simulator of the Renault factory in Enstone (United Kingdom) with a view to his return next year to the Formula 1 World Championship in which he will be renamed the Alpine team.

Likewise, will return to the controls of a real Formula 1 next Tuesday in Montmeló, in a ‘filming’ of no more than 100 kilometers at the controls of the RS18, the car of his last year in the ‘Great Circus’.

Alonso will compete again in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2021, and he will do it hand in hand with Renault, with which he won his two world titles -2005 and 2006-, in what will be his third stage in the French team, which next year will be renamed Alpine.

The Spaniard will replace Australian Daniel Ricciardo in the team, who will move to McLaren to take the place of fellow Spaniard Carlos Sainz, who signed a two-year contract with Ferrari.
