The defender, who has just renewed his contract, was swabbed after reporting that close contact was infected.
The defender of Independiente Alan Franco, who just signed the renewal of his contract, tested positive for coronavirus after undergoing a swab after learning of contagion from close contact. Bad news for Lucas Pusineri, beyond that the player has no symptoms and it was already isolated from the rest of the campus.
“As a result of close contact with a symptomatic relative, Alan Franco underwent a PCR swab and tested positive for Covid-19. He is without symptoms and is completing the isolation,” the Avellaneda club reported through its Twitter account.
Franco, who was very close to leaving for Croatian football, signed the renewal of his contract with him days ago Red, with a bond that lasted until June 2022 and has a release clause of $ 15 million.
This is the first positive in Independiente. In the Avellaneda club, however, they had already been alerted to the situation of fellow defender Fabricio Bustos, who had given a false positive in the controls prior to returning from practice.
Although as a precaution he had not started training, Bustos decided to undergo a second test that was negative and shared his joy on social networks.
“Thank you all for the messages of support I received, I have felt very loved this day and a half that I had tested positive !! Luckily, for my peace of mind, the peace of mind of my family and for those who were restless I I did another test and it came back negative, “said the defender.
