Since Monday morning, the stock market has risen cautiously. Early winners included IT company Sikri, which announced the acquisition of state-owned real estate company Ambita.
Before trading started on the Oslo Stock Exchange on Monday, people knew that Sikri would buy Ambita from the state for nearly NOK 1 billion.
From the beginning of the transaction, Sikri’s share has increased by more than 14%. Therefore, this is one of the stocks with the biggest gains.
The biggest gainers also included the other three newcomers. Bergen Carbon Solutions rose more than 36% when it debuted on the stock market. Norsk Solar rose more than 15% in the first trading day.
Hynion has its first trading day on Friday. On Monday, the stock rose about 16% at the beginning of trading.
The main index started with a rise of 0.23%.
Oil prices fell by 0.30% on Monday morning, and a barrel of North Sea oil costs US$66.50.
The stock exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region started on Monday. Therefore, they followed in the footsteps of Wall Street in the United States. Before the weekend, the three major stock indexes closed up.
