The unidentified attacker opened fire at a shopping center in the city of Wauwatosa
At least eight people have been injured in a shooting at the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. These are seven adults and a teenager who had to be transferred to the hospital. After the incident, which took place at 2:50 p.m. (local time), dozens of police officers and members of the fire department guarded the area. The attacker, according to local authorities, is a man between 20 and 30 years old and remains free, although there are no further details.
A woman, interviewed by CBS, said she heard eight to 12 shots outside the Macy’s store. Wauwatosa police, in a first report, claimed that the mall had to close and asked citizens to use alternate routes. The Milwaukee FBI office went to the area of the shooting.
