Anthony Alvin Hodges, a 35-year-old man, has been arrested in the United States on charges of sexually abusing a girl under the age of 12 the one who had harassed on the Snapchat application, with the aggravation that she is positive for HIV, reports Toofab.

On August 19, the police in Allen Park, Michigan, received a complaint from the parents about the disappearance of their 12-year-old daughter. Six hours later, the little girl was found. She said she was meeting her ‘boyfriend’, with whom he had planned to run away.

According to the agents, Hodges had been harassing the minor for months, when the girl was 11 years old, and she found out where she lived thanks to Snapchat. The girl confessed to officers that she had sex with Hodges for several weeks, that she thought she was 19 years old and that I did not know that he was HIV positive.

In fact, Hodges was indicted in 2016 for trying spread HIV to a previous partner.

The US authorities have recommended to parents that their children keep their apps without giving clues about its location.
