A short but intense workout to do at home or outdoors.
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is an exercise modality that combines repeated short efforts of high intensity (performed around 80-90% of heart rate maximum of one person), separated by periods of low intensity rest or recovery. Workouts generally last 20-25 minutes or less.
The Physical Education teacher Ailín Olivieri It offers you a good cardio routine under the HIIT method, which you can do at home or outdoors, these spring days.
In the video you can see how the following exercises are done:
Open / close jumps
Skiping abro / cierro
Long jump + squat + twist (always keep in mind to cushion with your knees)
Burpees with lateral jump
4 skipping + 1 flex
Lunge with front foot lift
Squat with lateral jumps
Depending on your level of training, you can choose one of the following options for work and pause times (30 ”x 30” / 30 ”x 20” / 30 ”x 10”). Keep in mind that there is a unilateral exercise (lunges) therefore the turns to be performed must be even: 2, 4 or 6.
