Dacia, until this year’s Stepway version, you wouldn’t say that it had a car design. So it’s a welcome surprise what you see in the pictures below.
In Ceausescu’s time, you were on a sometimes endless waiting list to get your car. Currently, it is a bit easier and the waiting period is, on average, about a week. But that doesn’t really matter, it’s what car you buy. In the images below are some cars that Dacia should make urgently.
The three new models have already been presented: Dacia Logan, Sandero and Sandero Stepway. What the world is waiting for now is a new Duster, but also a special seven-seater SUV that will replace Lodgy and be cheaper or more expensive than Duster.
Dacia models that would break the mouth of the fair
These images were published on the Facebook page X-Tomi Design. In the past, other interpretations of the already existing Dacia models also appeared there. This time it’s three separate versions: an MCV that really looks good, a van with low ground clearance, but also a two-door sedan.
Dacia also had MCV, and made vans out of Duster in partnership with others. But he didn’t experiment with two-door cars. Maybe an MCV Stepway would look close to what we see here.
All three retain the design elements on the new models. Thus, even if Logan leaves important European markets, it seems that an MCV version is what is needed for large families, who have a lot of luggage to carry.
As for the Dacia truck, it must be launched as soon as possible – whether it is a reinterpreted Duster or a radically transformed MCV. Maybe if Laurens van den Acker, the chief designer of the Renault group, sees as many such ideas as possible, he will be able to apply some of them.
