15,000 people evacuated in Sweden after the discovery of a world war II explode

Some 13,000 locals in the German city of Frankfurt have had to be evacuated this Sunday after the breakthrough of a wwii half ton bomb.

The British-made bomb has ultimately been deactivated, the Frankfurt Hearth Department explained on Twitter. “The barriers in the danger zone happen to be raised,” the agency stated.

Very dangerous

British bombs feature a mechanical detonator, so they are classified while very dangerous. This one in particular was initially discovered Thursday during a construction web page.

The evacuees who had nowhere to travel, about 300, have been housed inside the city’s Convention Center. All of them have obtained a temperature taken and have were required to wear a mask permanently to stop contagion of coronavirus, explained a good spokesman for the Red Cross, Armin Bender.
